We're thrilled to host a guided walk for neighbors through the Hillcrest forest site led by Rob Shaut, ISA-certified arborist and Chief Operating Officer of Casey Trees.
During this walk, you'll see the large, magnificent trees that make up the forest, learn how it’s changed over the past 100 years, and hear about current threats to the forest, like invasive vines, that Casey Trees will be combating.
The property does not currently have trails, and there is a steep slope to enter the forest. Please come dressed to walk over uneven terrain. We recommend wearing long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy shoes.
Registration is strongly encouraged to ensure we can accommodate all participants. We hope you can join us!
