For the 25th year of remembrance of 9.11, Ambassadors will lead statewide Tribute Service in support of Home Base and our military; and Unite in Remembrance, to unite the Commonwealth in observance of the National Moment of Silence on September 11th at 8:46 am. Through their efforts, Ambassadors seek to recall the spirit of community that helped heal our nation in 2001.
We warmly welcome you to join us for Unite in Remembrance., and would be honored to share the resources below based on your preference:
- Say Their Name Tribute Video: A Tribute to honor each of the 206 victims of 9.11 with Massachusetts' roots. We are honored to be joined by our Congressional delegation, Governor Healey, Lt. Governor Driscoll, Mayor Wu, and representatives of our professional sports teams in the tradition to "say their name" -- a loving remembrance of our neighbors, family, and friends.
- 9.11 curriculum co-developed by the Mass 9.11 families and WGBH, and additional resources from 9.11 Day and the Mass 9.11 Fund.
- Best practice examples from previous Ambassador-led National Moment of Silence remembrances.
Unite in Remembrance is not an in-person service event, rather an opportunity to unite virtually -- from wherever you are -- in peaceful remembrance at 8:46 am on September 11th.
