Project 55 Fellowship Positions
Princeton AlumniCorps partners with nonprofit and governmental organizations from across the country to host Project 55 Fellows as full-time employees. Fellows complete high-impact, meaningful work that contributes to the mission of their host organization. Host organizations sponsor the salary and healthcare of their Fellow(s), and often extend to Fellows additional benefits such as paid time off, company technology, and travel reimbursement. All salaries and benefits will vary across each respective organization and city-area. Project 55 is a leadership development program in civic and community engagement and is not a money-making venture. Disclaimer: Partner Organizations and available fellowship positions are finalized after your application is due.
$50.00 Application Fee or Waiver
Princeton AlumniCorps is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization separate from Princeton University. Therefore, we require a non-refundable $50.00 application fee that’s collected and utilized to subsidize program operating expenses. Applicants can submit for a “no questions asked” fee waiver when completing the application.
If you have any questions about the application or process, please contact Laissa Gibson, Program Manager, at lgibson@alumnicorps.org.

Short Answer
Please read the following question and respond in 250 words maximum.

Diversity Statement Guidance
The diversity statement questions allow us to understand you as an applicant and the contributions your leadership will make to advancing a more just, and equitable society. Please take the time for thoughtful, complete, and concise answers in writing your statement. We advise writing a statement that is 500-750 word maximum (approximately one-page, single-spaced). Please include a sufficient amount of detail for the application reviewers to have a holistic view into who you are. While you are welcome to discuss specific social impact roles or fields you are interested in working, please DO NOT discuss specific partner organizations. We advise all applicants to keep an open mind about available Project 55 opportunities as such information is subject to change.

More on Diversity Statements:
Minnesota State University: "Writing a Diversity Statement"
................................................................................................................................
Please respond to the following questions in your statement:

  1. What drives your passion for justice and social change? This is an opportunity for you to reflect on your lived experience and discuss what areas of justice you are passionate about, are involved in, and/ or want to learn more about.
  2. What aspiration do you have for your growth as a civic leader during your fellowship? Describe the civic knowledge, skills, or values you hope to develop by the end of the program. Consider the kinds of topics you may want to discuss, leaders you may want to meet, and anything else that might aid your development this year.
    1. (Continued): Connect that aspiration to Project 55. What about the Fellowship stands out to you as the right setting for the growth you described?
