Thank you for your recent inquiry about applying for Disadvantaged Youth Program grant funding and for your ongoing commitment to supporting young people through the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Framework.

 

Due to the high level of interest in the current funding round and the limited funds available, all Commonwealth grant funding has now been fully allocated and applications have closed. Funding for this program is supported by a Commonwealth grant, which has now ended. We are actively working to secure new funding, including exploring alternative funding sources.

 

At this stage, we are unable to confirm when a new funding round may open. Some schools and organisations, where possible, have chosen to temporarily absorb program costs and apply for backdated funding should further funds become available; however, approval of any application cannot be guaranteed.

 

We acknowledge that this update may impact your ability to deliver the Duke of Ed Framework to disadvantaged young people in your school, and we are doing everything we can to address this matter as quickly as possible.
