Welcome to the Nonprofit Profile for Business Volunteers.

We partner with over 50 of the region's most generous companies who are committed to supporting local nonprofits. We are eager to help you connect to the time and talent of the business community.

To help, we need to learn more about your organization and where you need support.

The nonprofit profile includes three sections:

·         Organizational Information

·         Group Volunteer Needs

·         Board Structure and Needs

Please answer the profile fields completely and accurately. It can take up to 20 minutes or more depending on your needs. You can update your profile at any time.

You will also be added to our mailing list where you can learn about trainings, events, and resources. Please continue to regularly visit the Nonprofit Portal on our website for more information.

Business Volunteers’ mission is to bring the talent of individual and business professionals to local nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to connect volunteers to organizations on a variety of levels while also providing support to increase capacity and productivity.

PART II: GROUP VOLUNTEER CAPACITY

Many of our business partners are seeking one-day group service events to support the community. We understand not all nonprofits are set up to receive this type of engagement.

In this section we will be better understanding your capacity to engage groups of volunteers for one-day community projects in the following categories:
  1. Direct service volunteering (hands on, working in the community at my program site)
  2. Virtual volunteering (having group projects that can be completed virtually)
  3. Have group projects that can be brought on location to a business (In-House projects)
  4. Items needed from a collection or drive
Please note, SKILLED volunteering, or probono consulting needs change rapidly so we do not ask this information in this profile. We do however, have ongoing opportunities for you to receive skilled volunteers. Look at the Nonprofit Portal Special Opportunities section of our website to learn more.
