Directions:

Marian University partners with Indianapolis Teaching Fellows to act as the licensing institution and helps you earn your Master’s degree while you’re teaching. In order for you to start training with Indianapolis Teaching Fellows this summer, Marian needs your graduate application and all transcripts for every university you’ve ever attended. Follow the below steps to submit your transcripts:

  1. After you submit your Marian application, you’ll be asked to submit supplemental documents to the university to support your application. This will include requesting your official transcripts be sent from every university you have ever attended directly from the institution to Marian University at Gradmissions@marian.edu or mailed to Marian University, Attn: Helen Buckley, 3200 Cold Spring Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Be sure you utilize this formal process to submit official transcripts to Marian University.
  2. Once you’ve submitted at least one transcript to Marian, upload proof of one official transcript request to this checklist item to change this checklist item status to pending.
    • This proof could be a picture of a receipt, a confirmation email, or a screenshot of the final webpage in the request system on your university’s website. If you do not complete this step, you will not be enrolled until Marian processes and receives your transcripts.
    • The sooner we receive proof of your request, the sooner we can move you to an official offer, so please upload your proof of request and change your checklist status to pending as soon as possible.
    • Please note that you may enroll in ITF prior to requesting all transcripts for your Marian application. However, Marian must have received all transcripts from every university you have ever attended in order for you to start training.

Important Considerations For Official Transcripts:
*Official transcripts must go directly to Marian from all universities you have ever attended - copies of transcripts in your possession with "official" written on them are NOT sufficient. Every transcript must be sent including:

  • Transcripts for universities with credits that were later transferred to another university
  • Transcripts for universities at which you only took 1 course
  • Transcripts for international universities (you will also be required to have your international transcripts evaluated. Please reach out to Gradmissions@marian.edu with specific questions or refer to https://www.marian.edu/admissions/submitting-official-transcripts.
  • Transcripts for universities where you did not complete your degree

Reach out to Katrina Adrian at info@tntpteachingfellows.org if you have questions about transcripts.

Please upload your file as a .pdf or .jpg

To be processed by the Clark County School District for clearance to teach summer school and for employment and state licensure purposes, fellows are required to submit official transcripts indicating that an undergraduate degree has been conferred.  To participate in NTC, your undergraduate degree MUST be conferred by June 1, 2024.

A note on graduate degrees:  If you have or will have a graduate degree by June 1, 2024, please order one copy and hold onto it until you apply for provisional state licensure this spring/summer.

If your degree has already been conferred: Please order two official transcripts immediately and upload a copy to this checklist item upon receipt.

-  You may use opened transcripts with a broken seal for district and state licensure processing.  Opening your official transcripts will not invalidate them.

-  Be sure to scan all pages of your official, undergraduate transcript showing your degree conferred and ensure that no parts of the transcript are cut off, too dark, or illegible.  Clear cell phone pictures will work if you do not have a scanner.

-  Do not mail any transcripts to NTC or give any transcripts to our staff unless directed to do so during Pre-Service Training.

-  Do keep your transcripts in a safe and accessible place so you will be able to make use of the hard copies toward the end of Pre-Service Training

If your degree has yet to be conferred: Please DO NOT submit unofficial transcripts to this checklist item, as they will not help expedite your path toward hire or licensure readiness. As soon as you know that your degree has been conferred, please follow the instructions for "If your degree has already been conferred" above.

Please note that if your college/university uses e-transcripts, you will be required to order one additional transcript at the beginning of July, to be sent directly to the Nevada Department of Education.  Please DO NOT request this transcript until directed to after Pre-Service Training.

Transcripts must be uploaded by June 1, 2024.
