Volunteer Clearance Procedures

FOR DCPS MENTORS: Any volunteer interested in working with a student in DC Public Schools must first obtain a DCPS Volunteer Clearance. This includes completing the online DCPS Volunteer Application, having documentation showing cleared TB test results from the last 12 months, and being fingerprinted by the DCPS Clearance team either at DCPS Central Office (1200 First Street NE, 10th Floor) or at an EWDC Clearance Clinic.

FOR KEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MENTORS: If you are a volunteer at Key Elementary School, you will need to follow the Arlington Public Schools process. This can be completed after you are matched with a student.
Please note: You can submit your application without having completed the DCPS clearance process.
Date is usually written at the top of the letter.
After you hit submit you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. If you do not receive such a confirmation email, please reach out at volunteers@everybodywinsdc.org or at (202) 216-9467.

Thank you so much for joining the Power Lunch team for the 2019-2020 program year!
