Join us in Newfields, NH at the Rockingham Rail Trail for a hike AND forest bathing lead by Brittnay Carr of Rooting in Nature and Certified Forest Therapy Guide. Join for a guided, easy-paced, mindfully immersive experience that invites you to slow down, open your senses, and (re)connect with nature and yourself. Our time together includes gentle movement, meditation, and thoughtfully crafted invitations that encourage you to stop and connect intimately with the natural world. Each walk concludes with locally sourced herbal tea, offering an opportunity to share and reflect on our experiences as a community. Healing is a shared journey—when we tend to nature, it tends to us in return. Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is the simple practice of taking in the forest atmosphere through the senses for health benefits. What participants are saying... "The entire experience was so grounding and peaceful. Brittany just brings a natural calm and comfort to everyone around her. Having this set time to slow down and reflect on my own life—growth and shortcomings, past and future—and to connect that reflection to the earth was meaningful and emotional." 一Alicia This hike is available to all abilities and all terrain chairs are available based on your needs for participation. Please call Northeast Passage at 603-862-0070 to register and discuss your hiking needs and supports.
