This course is part of an American Canoe Adaptive Paddling workshop designed to provide instructors, outfitters, recreation program providers, and rehabilitation professionals with the information they need to integrate paddlers with mobility disabilities into paddlesports programs. Saturday June 6th, 9am-4pm: This skills course will review techniques for transfers, kayak equipment outfitting and adaptations, risk management, and an opportunity to practice your wet exit and reentry skills in the outdoor pool at UNH. Participation this day is required with registration. Sunday: June 7th, 9am-1pm. Freshwater kayak tour in the Durham, NH area. Participation this day is optional/recommended with registration.
