Join Northeast Passage, in collaboration with Harborcare's Peer Support Program, to explore the art of crafting and sharing your authentic personal stories in our "Popcorn Stories Series" for veterans. Beyond simply sharing experiences, this group focuses on the intentional craft of storytelling—shaping your memories with purpose, insight, and agency. As we share, one person's story sparks another, creating a collective "popping" of shared humanity and open conversation. No experience or public speaking skills necessary. Through fun, facilitated games and guided prompts, you’ll easily connect with others, learn narrative techniques, and discover the transformative impact of owning your story and sharing with intention. The Northeast Passage Popcorn Stories Series is funded in part by Creative Forces®: NEA Military Healing Arts Network, an initiative of the National Endowment in partnership with the U.S. Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Creative Forces Community Engagement Grant program is managed by Mid-America Arts Alliance. Matching funds are provided by the J.D. McGonagle Foundation and in collaboration with Stellar Story Company.
