If your business is based out of a residential dwelling unit (home, condominium, apartment, accessory dwelling unit, etc.), you may be required by the Sherwood Municipal Code Chapter 16: Sherwood Zoning and Community Development Code section 16.42 to obtain a Home Occupation Permit.
To determine if a Home Occupation Permit is needed, please call Planning Staff at (503) 925-2308 to verify if your business is exempt from applying for a Home Occupation Permit.
Applications and fee (if applicable), may be submitted in person at the Community Development Department at City Hall (2nd floor), 22560 SW Pine Street, email, or by mail. The home occupation permit fee is an annual fee.
PLEASE NOTE: Businesses are also required to be registered with the State of Oregon and either hold a valid City of Sherwood business license or, if qualified, claim a City license exemption.
