Summer Institutes (Grades 6-12) Pre-registration
Welcome to pre-registration for our Summer 2024 term of Visual, Media, & Performing Arts Institutes! Summer classes take place daily Monday-Friday, July 8-19. Thank you for choosing Inner-City Arts. Please review the important details below before completing the pre-registration form.
Registration and class fees

Our registration process is new this term. After pre-registering by completing this online form, all families must come in person to Inner-City Arts to complete registration. Our campus will be open to assist you Monday-Friday from 2-4pm. For questions, please contact programs@inner-cityarts.org.


During your visit, staff will assist in enrolling you in the classes you select and collect payments.

  • A $10 registration fee will be due for every student.
  • A $150 tuition per class will be due for every student unless eligible for a tuition waiver. (Qualification for school free lunch program qualifies a student for a tuition waiver at Inner-City Arts.)

All fees will be collected at the required in-person enrollment

Work of Art interns: Please note you will not be charged fees for your class registration.


Choosing classes

This term, classes will ONLY be selected for enrollment during the in-person process on April 6 or 13. This online form is a pre-registration to help the in-person enrollment go quickly.


Students completing the pre-registration form:

  • If you are filling out details for yourself, awesome! Make sure you answer the pre-registration questions as yourself.
Parent/guardian completing the pre-registration form for a student:

  • Make sure you answer the pre-registration questions as the student being registered.
  • Once you complete the form, you will receive an email with next steps toward completing the student's class selection and enrollment in person on April 6 or 13.

Please note that all art classes will be taught in English. 


Dates to remember:

  • April 6 and April 13: Required in-person enrollment, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. All students must attend one, preferably with a parent or guardian, to select classes, meet staff, and complete payments. Enrollments will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • July 8: Classes begin
  • July 19: Last day of classes.
All students are expected to be present and to participate for all 10 days of studio instruction or to notify the Programs team in advance of any unavoidable absence due to illness or prior obligation.
