Documented household qualification as low income according to LA County guidelines qualifies a student for a tuition waiver at Inner-City Arts.

programs@inner-cityarts.org or call 213.627-9621 x122 to arrange a time to come to campus to enroll

UNDERSTANDING OUR CLASS LEVELS
As our programs evolve, our classes will be organized into Levels I, II, and III to support meaningful artistic growth over time.
Levels are determined by a combination of:
- Student age and developmental readiness
- Previous experience in the art form
- The learning objectives and technical demands of the course
Placement is not based on talent or comparison to others. Instead, it reflects where a student will be most supported and appropriately challenged.
Teaching artists may assess students informally throughout the term to ensure placement continues to align with their growth.
In some cases, students may remain in the same level for more than one term to deepen foundational skills before advancing.
Our goal is to create a progression pathway that is inclusive, skill-building, and responsive to each learner's development.
